Eye Allergies

Eye allergies are very common. Watery eyes, burning, and itching are some indications that you suffer from eye allergies. At OptomEYES Vision, the eye doctors specialize in identifying the causes for your eye allergy and in prescribing the best medications to treat it.

Glaucoma Evaluations

Glaucoma is a medical condition sometimes characterized by increased fluid pressure within the eye that can slowly lead to permanent vision loss. There are usually no symptoms in the early stages of glaucoma, so it is important to get screened at your annual eye exam.

LASIK Co-Management

LASIK eye surgery can help correct refractive errors in vision by using lasers to permanently reshape the cornea. This procedure improves vision and reduces your dependency on glasses or contact lenses. Though we do not perform LASIK, we will thoroughly discuss your options and co-manage your surgery pre and post-operatively with our local LASIK surgeons.

Diagnosis & Treatment of Ocular Emergencies

Our doctors treat and manage certain ocular emergencies like corneal abrasions, eyelid infections, conjunctivitis, and sudden vision loss. Please contact our office immediately if you are in need of urgent medical attention.

Dry Eye Treatments

Dry Eye Syndrome affects individuals of all ages and can have a major impact on quality of life. Symptoms of dry eye include foreign body sensation, itching, burning, redness, light sensitivity, lid infections, mucous discharge, and blurry vision. There are several different forms of dry eye, so depending on the type of dry eye you have, there are different treatments available. The doctors at OptomEYES Vision can determine what therapies are appropriate for managing your dry eyes. Some of these treatments may include lacrimal plugs, over-the-counter eye drops/lubricants, prescription eye drops, and more. Do not hesitate to schedule a dry eye evaluation with us if you suffer from Dry Eye Syndrome.

Keratoconus Management

Keratoconus is a medical condition that causes the cornea to gradually weaken, which influences your vision and overall comfort. We currently work with patients that have different levels of keratoconus. There are various options for keratoconus, such as glasses, corneal cross-linking, and specialty contact lens fittings. Our optometrists will decide which is the best option for you.
